We had a get together for New Year's at The Shack in Crosby. One day we will call this place our home--if we ever sell our house. We all had a great time!

It's been a while since I've updated my blog. Here are a couple of pics from Christmas. As you can see the boys wouldn't cooperate for our own family photo. Avery is definately in that "cheesy" smile stage.

San Marcos Trip with the Boys

I took the boys to San Marcos this past week. Some of my family was camping there and I thought it would be fun to take a road trip and stay a couple of days with them. The boys had a lot of fun riding their bikes around the park, swimming in the river and pool, and playing putt-putt. We had a good time, and the boys weren't ready to come home! Next trip, Jellystone Park!

4th of July on Lake Houston

We went out with the Chapman's on their party barge for 4th of July. We cruised around Lake Houston until dark so that we could watch the fireworks. All of the boys, except Parker, swam around for a while. This was Parker's first time out on the boat and his life jacket swallowed him. He still looked cute though! The fireworks were great!

My cousin's dog, Chloe, will sit in the tree as if it is normal. As we were trying to take Frio River pictures of the boys, we wanted to take a picture of Rhett with Chloe. He was not too happy about it! Poor Rhett!

My boys had the best time playing with Annsley! She was so funny as she kept crawling up to Rhett and trying to get him. He was a little uneasy with her doing this, but it was cute! I wonder what my boys would do with a little sister? I guess I'll keep wondering, because it's not going to happen! I'll just have to babysit to get my baby-fix!

Memorial Weekend

Memorial Day weekend we went to my parent's lakehouse on Toledo Bend, and Rhett caught his first two fish! In fact, he was pretty much the only one that caught a fish that weekend. He was so proud of his two little fish! Avery was so sweet to his little brother and acted very excited about his brother's accomplishment. I was proud of him for being so grown up about it. We had a lot of fun relaxing that weekend!

Swimming Fun

Now that it's summer time, our pool will get some good use! The boys are becoming more comfortable in the water, and hopefully Avery will be swimming without floaties by the end of the summer. He's still pretty hesitant to try. I don't blame him--water can be pretty scary. My niece and nephew, Ethan and Payton, enjoy coming over to swim, too. Our backyard can get pretty loud with all of the kiddos swimming, splashing, and screaming!

Rhett's 3rd Birthday Party

We celebrated Rhett's 3rd birthday on Saturday, June 6, which was actually his real birthday. He chose a monster truck theme, but told everyone that he wanted a dirt bike for his birthday. He tried to change his theme several times to dirt bikes. We had lots of fun swimming, eating, and visiting with friends and family. Rhett was worn out by the end of the day due to no nap and swimming with his eyes open. We have been blessed every year that we've had a birthday party at our house because the weather has always been beautiful. We had the same luck this year. It's hard to believe that our little baby is 3 years old. Time sure flies by!
